Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, in a procedure on adoption of a Work Program for 2019, carries out a process of public consultations in accordance with the Decision on Annual Planning and the Mode of Tracking and Reporting in Institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Official Gazette of BiH, No. 94/14).

The representative of the Centre for Information and recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education participated at the 7th Ministerial Meeting of the Western Balkan Platform on Education and Training & Research and Inovation. The meeting joints together representatives of Western Balkan countries dealing with education, training, research and inovation.

Agency for Science and Higher Education of the Republic Croatia informed the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education that, the Agency recognizes again higher education qualifications obtained at higher education institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are listed at the web page of the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance of BiH, started on Monday, 28 May 2018.

The Representatives of the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education attended the Kick-off Meeting of the Adriatic ENIC/NARIC centres. The meeting was held in Rome, on 4 May 2018, in the premises of the CIMEA (the Italian NARIC centre). Beside the representatives of the Centre, the meeting was attended by representatives of the ENIC/NARIC centres of Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Albania while the representatives of the ENIC centre of Serbia, Montenegro and the former Yugoslav Republic Macedonia, although invited, were not at the meeting.

Within the regular annual activities, the representatives of the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education (hereinafter: Centre) visited the NARIC Centre of Austria on 23 April 2018.

The issues such as the position of both centres and their visibility, an official status of BiH higher education institutions related to academic and professional recognition of higher education qualifications in Austria, relation between pre-Bologna and Bologna qualification in both countries, Bilateral Agreement between Austria and BiH in the field of education, recognition of prior learning were discussed among others during the meeting.

Activities concerning the Project "Strengthening of Internationalisation in BiH Higher Education" (STINT project) have continued with the seminar in Tuzla. The seminar was held on 17-18 April 2018 and the host of the meeting was the University of Tuzla. The topics of this seminar were the benchmarking implemented pilot activities and benchmarking different criteria across Europe about an assessing of internationalisation.
