As a part of the Tempus project Bosnia and Herzegovina Qualifications Framework for Higher Education – BHQFHE, in Padeborn on 30 and 31 Januar 2014, the Kick-off Meeting of the Project was held.

Padeborn 1The Meeting was attended, except the representatives of the Centre by representatives of Dzemal Bijedic University of Mostar, University of Mostar, University of East Sarajevo, University of Tuzla, University of Zenica, University of Bihac, World University Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina (SUS B&H), the Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance, the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Association of Employers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, University of Padeborn, University of Split, University of Northampton, University of Limerick, University of Lleida, the Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, the Network of Central and Eastern European Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA).

 

The main objective of the project is to support the structural reform of higher education system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, supporting the development of the BHQFHE in line with national priorities, and its implementation at different institutional levels. The project should provide models for full formal implementation of the BHQFHE at institutional levels, based on all criteria and procedures of the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF-LLL) and the European Qualifications for European Qualifications Framework Area (QF-EHEA).

 

The estimated duration of the project is 36 months and one of the main achivements should be Drafting of Sectorial Statements of bachelor, master and doctoral degrees for six scientific areas, that is 18 Sectorial Statements in total.

 

The next project coordination meeting will be held in January 2015 in Northampton, UK.
