Third meeting of the consortium of the Tempus project “ BH Qualifications Framework for Higher Education - BHQFHE“ was held from 26 February 2016 to 28 February 2016 at the University of Limerick in Limerick, Ireland.

Third Meeting of Consortium Limerick 1Through this meeting this project officialy entered its final stage of implementation. Project's goal is support of development of BH Qualifications Framework for Higher Education and its implementation on the level of higher education institutions, according to the criteria of the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF-LLL) and the Qualifications Framework for European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA). Project presents a very important transformation and modernization of higher education in BiH, and integration to european academic network.

Partners of the Tempus project are six public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina: University of Bihac, “Džemal Bijedic“ University of Mostar, University of Mostar, University of Zenica, University of East Sarajevo and University of Tuzla, ministries of education of the Sarajevo Canton and the West Herzegovina Canton, World University Service (WUS), University of Split (Croatia), University Northampton ( Great Britain), University Limerick (Ireland), University Lleida (Spain), Ministry of Science, Education and Sports of the Republic of Croatia, CEENQA – Network of Central and Eastern European Quality Assurance Agencies in HE, Association of Employers of BiH, Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, Agency for Development of Higher Education and Quality Assurance. Project co-ordinator is the University in Paderborn. Consortium meeting, on first day, began with a few welcoming words by Dr Pat Phelan and Dermot Coughlan from the University of Limerick, followed by a report of Administrative Project Group on set and accomplished results for eight working groups in previous period, all connected to project implementation. Project co-ordinator, mr Ahmet Mehic from the University in Paderborn, submitted a report on depleted resources and financial obligations for all project partners.

Third Meeting of Consortium Limerick 2Within the introductory part, representatives of the University of Limerick indicated meaning of learning outcomes in accreditation process, and writing down that learning outcomes while using active verbs. In the second part of first working day, all project's partners submitted a report on conducted activities in their institutions. In the end, Administrative Project Group, consisting of the representatives of the University of Paderborn, University of Tuzla, University of Split, and World University Service in BiH, informed all participants about remaining project activities, their realization, and obligations of individual partners, related to successful ending of the project.

Through regular project activities, representatives of the University of Split informed the present participants on upcoming activity: writing a self-certification report and obligations of the university, and involvement of domestic partners in planned activities. Consortium meeting, on second day, consisted of training to write a self- certification report, which was conducted by the representatives of the University of Lleida and the University of Limerick. Administrative Project Group ended the Third Meeting of the Consortium with conclusions and further instructions. Schedule of activities, deadlines for certain activities, and persons responsible for implementation were determined.
