Representatives of Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education attended the Kick-off Meeting of the Western Balkans Alumni Association-WBAA which was held from 15 March to 17 March 2018 in Ohrid, Macedonia. The conference was supported by the European Commission and gathered over 300 participants, including students, alumni, representatives of higher education institutions, ministries, agencies, representatives of student organizations, university professors, as well as representatives of the European Commission and the labor market.

Balkan Confluence 15-17 March Ohrid MacedoniaDuring the Conference, the activities of the WBAA organization, their goals, , structure and planned activities were presented. Seven thematic workshops were organized in two terms, and representatives of the Centre attended two of them: "Challenges in Higher Education in the Countries of the Western Balkans" and "Mobility and Employability". Also, 6 national workshops were organized, ie each of the participating countries had a thematic workshop, where they discussed mobility problems in the countries of the Western Balkans, as well as problems in the higher education in general, quality assurance and re-accreditation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the national workshop, the representatives of the Centre presented their activities, both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the European Higher Education Area, and invited all interested parties to use the services of the Centre.
