STINT Project Tuzla Seminar April 2018During the Seminar the representative of the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education together with the representative of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Srpska held the presentation concerning the tranings on procedures of academic recognition which were undertaken at all public universities in the last four months, except the University of Banja Luka and previously agreed at the Second Consortium Meeting held in Zenica in November 2017. It was pointed out that trainings were very well organized, the attendance was very high but admission officer are not so familiar with the main provisions of the Lisbon Recognition Convention. Only a traning is not enough to implement the recognition model earlier developed within the Project. The sustainability of the Project will in part depends on the willingness of the universities to make an effort in implementation of the model.

The pilot activities carried out by BiH universities were also presented, and it was also discussed European criteria and experiences in internationalization and relations of BH criteria for accreditation with the ECA criteria for internationalization as well as how much is the internationalisation requested in the accreditation process. The best practices of the international partners which participate in this Project, related to this topic, were presented

The next meeting will be held in Porto in September 2018.
