The representative of the Centre presented activities related to the Model of Academic Recognition developed during the Project which was the basis for adoption of rulebooks on academic recognition at all 8 public universities. With the adoption of rulebooks, completely based on the provision of the Lisbon Recognition Convention, public universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina decided to recognize foreign higher education qualifications and periods of study on the completely different way than before. Although, during the Project, trainings of academic officers were done, additional trainings are required in order to achieve a full implementation of academic recognition. The Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education will stay in touch with public universities after the project life and as part of sustainability of the Project assure this.

The general conclusion was that the Project has been evaluated as the most successful structural project in higher education in last two decades because many important things have been done such as rulebooks on student mobility, strategies of internationalization, already mentioned rulebooks on academic recognition etc. Moreover, international partners with workshops in Belgium, Portugal and United Kingdom allow public universities to get an insight into experiencies of international partners in the area of internationalization.

The project finished on 14 April 2019, but the writing of Final report should be finished by the end of June. It is expected that this Project will have its follow-up because project partners already applied within Erasmus+ Call for Proposals 2019.
