After the Kick-off Meeting of the Project “Strengthening of Internationalisation in B&H Higher Education“ held in Gent, from 7-10 March, the next meeting within the framework of First project package, “Analysis of current situation about internationalisation and recognition mechanisms“ was held in Banja Luka.

After the 7th Meeting of the Committee of the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region, the representative of the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education participated at a follow-up Conference, also jointly organized by UNESCO and the Council of Europe, entitled “Recognition of qualifications held by refugees, displaced persons and persons in a refugee-like situation”.

UNESCO and the Council of Europe organized the 7th Meeting of the Committee of the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications Concerning Higher Education in the European Region (Lisbon Recognition Convention).

Third meeting of the consortium of the Tempus project “ BH Qualifications Framework for Higher Education - BHQFHE“ was held from 26 February 2016 to 28 February 2016 at the University of Limerick in Limerick, Ireland.

In Official Gazette of BiH, No.10/16, the Decision on Adoption of the Road Map for Implementation of the EU Directive 2005/36/EC and 2013/55/EU on Regulated Profession was published. The Road map was a result of a complex analysis in which were involved all competent authorities, including all institutions in sectors of health, arhitecture and veterinary medicine.

Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina notified the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education that the Erasmus+ Office in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina , is establishing new procedures for release of VAT and custom fees, for financing projects within Erasmus+ programme.

At the Constitutive Meeting of the Steering Committee of the Centre for Information and Recognition of Qualifications in Higher Education, held on 29 January 2016, an election of the Chairman and two Vice Chairman of the Steering Committee was done.
